These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Recipe Easy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Recipe Easy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You agree that:

You are at least 13 years old
Information you provide is accurate and up to date
You are responsible for activity under your account
You will keep your account credentials secure

Recipe Easy currently supports sign-in with email one-time verification codes (OTP) and Google OAuth.

3. Service Description

Recipe Easy provides AI-assisted cooking features, including:

Recipe generation from selected ingredients and preferences
AI image generation for recipes
Recipe saving, listing, favorites management, and deletion
Automatic recipe translation for supported locales
Credits-based usage controls
Profile features such as display name and avatar

Features may change over time.

4. Credits and Fair Use

Recipe Easy uses an internal credits system.

Current product rules (as of February 27, 2026):

Daily login bonus may grant 3 credits with a 24-hour validity window
Generating one recipe costs 1 credit
Generating one image costs 2 credits
Credits may expire according to system rules

Credits:

Have no cash value
Are non-transferable
Are not redeemable for money

We may adjust credits rules, costs, and limits at any time.

5. Saved Content and Visibility

When you save recipes, they may be accessible through Recipe Easy listing/detail routes used by the product experience.

If you do not want content to remain available through those flows, do not save it, or delete it from your account where deletion is supported.

You remain responsible for content you submit or save.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Violate any law or regulation
Attempt unauthorized access, probing, scraping, or system abuse
Interfere with service stability or security
Circumvent credits or usage controls
Upload or submit malicious, deceptive, or infringing content

We may suspend or restrict access for violations.

7. AI Output Disclaimer

Recipe and image outputs are generated by AI and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

You are responsible for:

Verifying ingredients, allergens, cooking times, and safety practices
Using independent judgment before cooking or serving food
Confirming legal and IP compliance for any commercial use of outputs

Recipe Easy is not medical, nutritional, or professional food safety advice.

8. Third-Party Services

Recipe Easy relies on third-party providers (such as Supabase, Neon, Cloudflare R2, Replicate, DashScope, Vercel, and optionally Google Analytics/Clarity/AdSense).

Your use of Recipe Easy may involve those providers' infrastructure and policies.

We are not responsible for outages or policy changes of third-party services.

9. Intellectual Property

Recipe Easy platform code, design, branding, and service logic are owned by Recipe Easy or its licensors.
You retain rights to your lawful input content.
You receive rights to use generated output to the extent permitted by law and these Terms.
You grant Recipe Easy a non-exclusive license to process, store, and display submitted content as required to operate and improve the service.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or create legal/security risk.

You may stop using the service at any time. Where supported, you can delete saved recipes from your account experience.

Some records may be retained as required by law or legitimate security/audit needs.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

Recipe Easy is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recipe Easy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including food outcome issues, lost profits, or business interruption.

Where liability cannot be excluded, liability is limited to the minimum amount required by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Recipe Easy harmless from claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. You agree to attempt informal resolution first by contacting us.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
